LEMO Marks its 75th Anniversary in 2021
Founded in Switzerland in 1946 in Morges along the Geneva lake shore, LEMO? took its name from the company's founder, the current CEO’s grandfather, engineer Léon Mouttet. Originally a manufacturer of contacts in noble and rare metals, the company took a major step forward in 1957 with the invention of the Push-Pull self-latching connector.

A new REDEL production site is inaugurated!
The new REDEL 2 production site, at 400m from the main site (St-Croix, Switzerland), was officially inaugurated on 3rd September 2020. +34% REDEL production surface area, 7038m2+16% REDEL staff, 157, of which 44 people at REDEL 2.

1969 - A giant leap for LEMO
50 years ago, Neil Armstrong wasn’t the only one taking some important steps. In early December of that year, LEMO first set foot in Germany and this new subsidiary was to become one of the largest in the Group.
