LEMO Marks its 75th Anniversary in 2021
Founded in Switzerland in 1946 in Morges along the Geneva lake shore, LEMO? took its name from the company's founder, the current CEO’s grandfather, engineer Léon Mouttet. Originally a manufacturer of contacts in noble and rare metals, the company took a major step forward in 1957 with the invention of the Push-Pull self-latching connector.
New S series design
LEMO launches a new design for the S series connector range. The S series connector is one of the initial designs of the LEMO Push-Pull system. This product range will now also include a new outershell design using LEMO's famous chocolate bar shape.
New Factory in Budapest Hungary
To increase LEMO's production capacities, a new factory has been built in Budapest-Hungary. The new factory has been running since November 2010 and has a total surface of 10'240 m2. It is the only LEMO Group factory that combines all the manufacturing processes within one site : injection molding, assembly and plating....
