LEMO Marks its 75th Anniversary in 2021
Founded in Switzerland in 1946 in Morges along the Geneva lake shore, LEMO? took its name from the company's founder, the current CEO’s grandfather, engineer Léon Mouttet. Originally a manufacturer of contacts in noble and rare metals, the company took a major step forward in 1957 with the invention of the Push-Pull self-latching connector.
1969 - A giant leap for LEMO
50 years ago, Neil Armstrong wasn’t the only one taking some important steps. In early December of that year, LEMO first set foot in Germany and this new subsidiary was to become one of the largest in the Group.

Printing an exact copy of the patient
In the printer are two polymer materials owned by 3D Systems: the material which will “hold” the finest elements and the building material itself. Once it's printing, the machine super- poses – one by one – layers 32 microns deep.
