LEMO Marks its 75th Anniversary in 2021
Founded in Switzerland in 1946 in Morges along the Geneva lake shore, LEMO? took its name from the company's founder, the current CEO’s grandfather, engineer Léon Mouttet. Originally a manufacturer of contacts in noble and rare metals, the company took a major step forward in 1957 with the invention of the Push-Pull self-latching connector.
Growth spurt for LEMO 5
Exactly 10 years ago, the LEMO 5 factory was extended to its current size. The company plays a crucial role in the LEMO galaxy, producing a significant amount of the brass components for its connectors.
New S series design
LEMO launches a new design for the S series connector range. The S series connector is one of the initial designs of the LEMO Push-Pull system. This product range will now also include a new outershell design using LEMO's famous chocolate bar shape.
