LEMO Marks its 75th Anniversary in 2021
Founded in Switzerland in 1946 in Morges along the Geneva lake shore, LEMO? took its name from the company's founder, the current CEO’s grandfather, engineer Léon Mouttet. Originally a manufacturer of contacts in noble and rare metals, the company took a major step forward in 1957 with the invention of the Push-Pull self-latching connector.

LEMO launches a 1000 Base T1- Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) Push-Pull connector
Based on transmission standards (IEEE 802.3), single-pair Ethernet (also called SPE or 1000Base-T1) is integrated into new generations of automobiles. 1000Base-T1 is designed to operate over a single twisted-pair copper cable supporting an effective data rate of 1 Gbit/sec in each direction simultaneously.

New Connector for Industrial Control Equipment
LEMO has recently filed 2B series for UL 508A. These requirements cover industrial control panels intended for general industrial use, operating from a voltage of 1000 volts or less.
